Are you interested in sending me “stuff” on the trail?  Then this post is for you!

If you just want to send Kalloz a letter we’ll mail at to a future mail drop, click here.

First, before I tell you where to send things, please read these bullets:

  • Pay close attention to where I am based on milage – in my posts I will state the milage mark.  Do not mail something if I’m less then 200 miles from where you want to send the box … or passed it – I’m not going to hike back for a box of poptarts! Keep in mind that the post office is closed on Sundays, Holidays, and sometimes on Saturdays.
  • So I know to look for it … let me know ASAP if you’ve sent me something and where.
  • Let me know if it’s a letter or box and about what size it is.  The Post Office gets a lot of boxes for hikers.
  • When you write the address and my name on the box, write in LARGE bold letters.  It also helps to write my name on several sides of the box.
  • Do not send me things I’d have to carry – caus it will be tossed – although I might play with it for a couple hours before leaving town (kinda like Bailey the Dog).
  • Double bag home baked goodies.  Sometimes these post offices are not mouse-free…..you know what I’m saying?
  • You can estimate when I will arrive by using this generalization: I hike 100 miles a week.  Can you figure it out?  If not, ask Courtney to do the math.  (note:  My posts will have my current mileage).

*****Note:  I am not sending myself anything for this hike and plan to buy food and supplies along the way.  So keep in mind that I will not be planning on stopping at the post office unless I know something is there for me.
